Why did they act that way???? kinda long sry....10 points though to the best answer! :)?

Hi, It is so very apparent that they are jealous of you and that is how kids act when they feel like that. They treat you as an outcast because they perceive you as better and, or, prettier than them. It was thrown in their face when the waitress said what she said. I feel sorry for you! That is not, at all, a nice position to be in. It sounds like 'Alllie' is a ring leader and the other cousins kind of follow her. Well, if it were me, I would march right up to them whenever they started acting like that at another family get together....be calm, look them all right in the eye and ask them what their problem is. Let them know that they are acting very rudely and especially childish. You have done nothing to them and it's time for them to put their preconceived ideas of you aside and grow up. They are acting in a most inappropriate way. Make them talk to you. Say whatever words you have to say to get your point across and make them tell you how they feel. Be nice, be adult but, be firm. If that fails, go talk to their parents and tell them what is going on. Ask them to go with you to talk to your cousins. Ask them not to demand that they include you...ask them to find out why they are treating you like this so they can help you resolve the problem. JOSA
