Will Adam Sandler ever be funny again?!?

It just seems that his career has gone way downhill. I understand that hes married and he has a kid and hes expecting another kid soon. But me being a huge fan and all I just think he should be in better movies. I love all of them up to Chuck and Larry. But then he made Zohan. And sorry to people who liked that movie but i thought it was crap. and now little kid movies and theres a rumor that he will be doing horror movies? My question is, should i keep or lose hope for adam sandler to ever be an awesum celebrity that everyone likes. I dont wanna waste my life keeping hope for funny movies that i will never see. Plz, descent answers.:)
