I run a fast 400m sprint but when im nervous i suck, what can i do?

championships are this thursday and last time i came in third in preliminary's. I cant ever run my fastest in the 400 meets. at the end of the race, i want to go, i have all the motives, but i cant feel my muscels enough to move. this never happens at practice, how can i increase my chances for 1st?
