What is your favorite moment as a fan?

The 2001 World Series might not be my favorite, but since 9/11 just ped I thought it was worth mentioning. Yes, I know the Yankees lost. And yes, at the time it felt like it was the end of the world. But looking back now, that was one of the best World Series ever played. It really had it all, so many thrilling moments. Seeing that bloop single fly over Jeter's head in Game 7, completely out of his reach still kills me, but despite that the Yankees played their hearts out that series. After 9/11, the fact that the Yankees were able to make us fans as happy as they did was incredible. When I hear people who say that they lost loved ones in 9/11, but the Yankees gave them something to love and something to live for, it makes me realize why I love baseball.
