What dresses do you where to bat mitzvah's?

just a cute little dress, but if its not your own just wear a plainer one cause you dont wanna be wearing something more showey than the girl who's bat-mitzvah it is!! i'd say a knee length little black dress or something like that! but check how formal it is going to be first!
