If Jesus really existed, where is the evidence?

There isn't a single shred of evidence for Jesus, until at least a generation after his supposed life. It was more than likely a patch work of Pagan stories sewn up by Pagan influenced Jews looking to have a world savior more than a cultural messiah in time of Roman persecution. It would be a story that would have other nations sympathize with them to stand up against Rome. A's Razor says that the most likely explanation tends to be true, and since there is no RELIABLE evidence for his actual existence, then he never actually existed.
